10,000 Victorians join the club for consumers 50 and Over

vic-fbMore than 10,000 Victorians have joined the FiftyUp Club in two weeks, to help unlock the group discounts, products and services that over-50s deserve.

The FiftyUp Club is a consumer movement that lobbies businesses and governments on behalf of more than 100,000 members aged 50-plus.

Almost a year after it began in NSW, the Club launched in Victoria last week, seeking 10,000 members to demonstrate demand for the Club’s offers and campaigns.

Thanks to 10,000 FiftyUps who have now joined, the Club is preparing to release six group-discounted offers for the Over-50s, including

  • Group-discounted electricity plans,
  • A rare Health Insurance Offer for our members, and
  •  A Car Insurance Offer exclusive to the over-50s, because they’re statistically safer drivers than younger customers.

FiftyUp Club Chairman John Mangos said it represented a huge win for the Over-50s, who have felt ignored by businesses and governments for too long:

“With more members than we can fit in the MCG, we’ve now got the combined buying power and political influence that cannot be ignored.

“We know FiftyUps are, more often than not, the best customers that companies have. And now we’re finally getting the treatment we deserve.”

Joining is entirely cost-free and obligation-free at www.FiftyUpClub.com
