FiftyUp Club supports radio personality Glenn Wheeler at fundraising event

On Wednesday 28th October 2015, a small group of FiftyUp Club members and guests including FiftyUp Club spokesperson Christopher Zinn and 2GB Producer Janette Lakiss joined hundreds of others at a fundraising event in honour of Channel 7 and 2CH Radio personality Glenn Wheeler.

Glenn Wheeler was injured in a scooter accident at the beginning of the year. He suffered serious leg and head injuries. While Glenn has been making amazing progress in his recovery, he has many months of rehabilitation ahead of him.

A big charity and community supporter himself, 2GB organised for luncheon to raise funds for Glenn's recovery.

The FiftyUp Club members joined hundreds of other community members, radio listeners, politicians and charity groups to support Glenn on the day.

As Alan Jones said on the day "the room was full of love".

On behalf of all our members we were happy to be there to support Glenn Wheeler.

FiftyUpClub is really a wonderful New Beginning to Australians helping other Australians who are worse or less inclined to be to be strong & healthy for some reason or another. For example: Both 2UE & 2GB have joined forces to raise Fund for the Westmead Children Hospital. I believe there was over a Million & a half Dollars Raised! How wonderful team work is that?!

Whilst Glenn certainly needs much support, I initially have questions about the accident. What was the cause of the accident and who has been held liable, and can Glenn claim against insurance held by himself or the other driver? This will help me to set my level of support.
