Can anyone explain the fact that we pay health insurance premiums all our lives, yet we still have out of pocket health service expenses. I didn't use any health services last year, so why don't I get my premiums "held in trust" so I can use them when I need them? Why should my good health fund others who rort the system.

Hi Jenni, the out-of-pocket expenses are because many specialists charge above the standard fee. Unfortunately, doctors can charge what they like. It's very frustrating when you pay health insurance and still have to fork out.

We are a small model train club located in a park at Bankstown NSW. We are looking for members any age, but most of us are 50 plus. We run small 5" gauge trains and give kids rides. Some members make steam locomotives others battery or petrol. Good hobby if you have spare time. Ring Secretary on 9153 7220.

Hi Daph! Thanks for your comment. The What's On section is something I look after and I've been searching for free stuff for South Australia. We did approach one group but they declined to run a promo with us but we'll keep trying
