FiftyUp Club - HCF FAQS

Here are the answers to some of your most Frequently Asked Questions.

Q: Why did FiftyUp Club choose this offer?

A: HCF is Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund and recently received the CANSTAR award for Outstanding Value in health insurance nationally.^ The cashback* offer will help those who move their hospital and extras cover to HCF with up to $100* reward every year for the next 5 years as a loyalty reward for families. Click here to see offer now.

Q: How is the coverage different from HCF’s standard offers?

A: It’s not. The offer incorporates the existing range of HCF health cover offers. All the same benefits and costs apply. The only difference is that if you switch to HCF hospital and extras cover with the FiftyUp Club, you can receive up to $500 cash back over the next 5 years*.

Q: Will I have to re-serve my waiting periods?

A: No, not if you move to comparable cover. HCF will recognise waiting periods you've already served with your current fund. Some longer waiting periods and conditions apply. Find out more by calling an HCF expert on 1800 345 044 or See Offer Now.

Q: Do I have to contact my current provider in order to ‘switch’?

A: No! Health Insurance is one of the most portable forms of insurance. You can switch any time and HCF will manage the transfer from your current provider.

Q: Will I get the same level of cover I’m currently receiving?

A: That’s up to you. We recommend speaking to one of the experts at HCF. They have a great knowledge of products already in the market and can give you an obligation free quote if you call them on 1800 345 044.

Q: How do I get a quote? I’m not sure I want to switch, I just want to know my options.

A: Call the dedicated HCF-FiftyUp Club phone line. Their number is 1800 345 044. They talk to FiftyUps like you all day and there’s no obligation to switch. If you prefer to get a quote online, do so at fiftyupclub.com.au

Agree Margaret, but then no commission would be paid to the Club . It seems that is what drives these types of offers, not what loyal customers require.
