“Many years ago older people used to live with their families where everyone had a role regardless of age. This is no longer the case for most people.

According to research statistics we are becoming socially isolated which has a major impact on our health and wellbeing.

Older single women are facing homelessness at a greater rate because they have less financial security. They usually work in lower paid jobs and being in and out of the workforce they have less superannuation.”
