Vitamin B-Complex: If there was a “happy pill”, B-complex is it because it increases energy and enhances mood and so much more.

Control Your Breathing: Slow and controlled breathes tell your brain all is good and allows your body to be at peace instead of being stressed out because of a bad mood.

Aromatherapy: Calming scents like lavender put the mind and body at ease.

Music: Music is the one language we all understand. Listening to your favourite tunes will usually lift your spirits.

Exercise: Get those endorphins pumping through your system for a good mood boost!

After nearly 20 years in the one Company, I have now been made redundant due the company closing down, so now, moving forward, how do I manage to stay positive and find more work.

I'm sorry to hear you were made redundant, but think of it as one door closing and another opening. Now's your chance to do something you have always wanted to do or to try something new. Next week we have an article for Switching Careers After 50 coming out. It may help or inspire you.

All good suggestions!! Am now about to do a small bush walk with my Physio. Will take a hiking stick as the grounds will be wet and slippery and I have just recovered from a double hip replacement. Off I go now. Wish me luck as it’s the first big exercise since my operation.
