Turn the heater on earlier it is cheaper to keep a room warm than to try and heat a cold room.

1) Hot water was set at 50 degrees, luckily I have a dishwasher as this temperature is way too low to handwash dishes. 2) No way! My heating thermostat is set at 22 degrees and even that is usually too low. 3) Curtains are always opened in the morning and closed at night 4) Lights - especially LED, use VERY little energy 5) A bit difficult when you have a ducted system 6) Appliances are turned off when not in use 7) Nope. I have a front loader that uses very little water and heats the water - very economical 8) I expect my electricity bill to be around $200.00 before deducting my solar credits. The gas bill is a different matter and I wish I didn't have gas. 9) Most lights have LEDs fitted 10) Nah, not worth it
